Liberate Energy
“Cut the cord to the diesel barge; run the town on daily solar income.”
01 · The Shackle
The centralized chokehold today
Communities are wired to imported diesel and a distant centralized grid. Every kilowatt arrives with a meter and a master, and a single price shock or supply cut can darken an entire region overnight.
This is the weaponized pattern: scarcity engineered through a single point of control. The adversary is the architecture — never the people inside it.
02 · The Liberation
Decentralize, and abundance becomes the attractor
Generate power at the edge from daily solar income — sun, wind, and tide — buffered by battery and hydrogen storage, with catalysed-fusion-class research as the high-upside frontier. As local generation rises and dependency falls, EAR climbs without bound (directionally) and every other realm gets cheaper to liberate.
This is Fuller’s ephemeralization in motion — doing ever-more with ever-less until the resource is effectively free at the edge. Weaponry converts to livingry: the same engineering that once concentrated power now distributes it.
03 · The Index
The sovereignty metric this mission raises
Energy Autonomy Ratio
EAR — Energy Autonomy Ratio (local energy ÷ demand)
Every index is a falsifiable hypothesis — a number that should move measurably as the work lands. When it climbs, the math agrees with the elders: abundance was the stable solution all along.
04 · Regenerative Tech Stack
The livingry that does the work
05 · In-Town District
Where this lives in the Open Source Town
⚡ Energy — solar-wind microgrid, battery + hydrogen storage
Energy is the master realm — every other realm draws on it. When a community generates its own power from daily solar income (sun, wind, tide), the cold logic of imported scarcity dissolves. The last mile of energy sovereignty is worth more than the first.
Each district is one buildable quarter of the model town — a place you can walk, measure, and replicate. Together the resource realm districts compose a living proof.
06 · Peace Engineer Actions
What a Peace Engineer actually does
- 1Wire the microgrid and bring the first district online
- 2Map current diesel/grid dependency to set a baseline EAR
- 3Toggle the diesel barge OFF once storage covers the load
- 4Publish the EAR baseline-vs-deployment comparison to the open ledger
07 · Success Metrics
How we know it worked
Monotonic rise in EAR with the diesel dependency Di trending toward zero; surplus generation feeding the treasury.
